  • Founded Natives Count in late 2018 in preparation for the 2020 Census
  • Chair of the Census National Advisory Committee (2020-2022), Vice Chair (2019-2020), Member (2016-2022)
  • Founding Member of the Native American Voting Rights Coalition (2015)
  • Author of two books, three book chapters, and two dozen journal articles with most focusing on voting rights, the census, and American Indians and Alaska Natives
  • Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) and Master of Laws (LLM), University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School; Juris Doctor (JD) with High Honors and Order of the Coif, University of Florida Levin College of Law; Master of Public Administration (MPA), University of Oklahoma; Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History, magna cum laude, Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University
