Overview

  • Founded in late 2018 in preparation for the 2020 Census through virtual meetings with partners working together for a complete count of Alaska Natives and American Indians
  • Nonpartisan working group of organizations and individuals who collaborate to share best practices and collaborate on ways to improve Census Bureau surveys of Native American households in urban areas, American Indian reservations, Alaska Native villages, and Native Hawaiian homelands
  • Scheduled monthly calls are listed on the Upcoming Events page (click the “Next meeting” button below to learn more)
  • Maintains this website to serve as a clearinghouse for census data, information, and resources for Alaska Natives, American Indians, and Native Hawaiians
